STOCKTON ARENA

 


Stockton Arena is the centerpiece of the city's north shore redevelopment project. In addition to the Arena, the waterfront events center includes an adjacent 5,000-seat baseball stadium (Banner Island Ballpark), five-star Sheraton Stockton hotel and Conference Center, a 500+ capacity parking facility and premiere retail locations.

Stockton Arena opened its doors to the public on December 2nd, 2005.  The first sporting event was the Stockton Thunder hockey game on December 10, 2005 in front of a sold out crowd of 10,117, when the Thunder defeated the Phoenix RoadRunners in a 4-0 victory.  

 

 The state-of-the-art venue features 24 luxury suites, approximately 400 club seats, a Members Club lounge, video replay scoreboard, four fully-furnished team locker rooms and three team and arena offices.

The multi-use facility accomodates a wide range of events and activities with a total event load anticipated to exceed 100 events per year. In addition to the Thunder, Stockton Arena is home to the Stockton Lightning arenafootball2 team and the California Cougars professional indoor soccer team.

Professional hockey, arena football and indoor soccer bring more than 60 regular season contests to the Stockton Arena. Additional Stockton Arena-hosted events include concerts such as Gwen Stefani, Brad Paisley, Neil Diamond, Chris Brown, festivals, graduations, ice shows, and much more.
